Security Engineer

NTT DATA seeks a Security Engineer to secure complex, global client environments. You will design and implement secure architectures, configure security tools, and perform vulnerability assessments and incident investigations across network, cloud, and application layers. Partner with international teams to embed security into large-scale digital transformation projects, develop automation and hardening standards, and support compliance initiatives while documenting best practices and improving security operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network, cloud, and application architectures for client environments
• Configure and manage security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and drive remediation with engineering teams
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and support incident response and root-cause analysis
• Develop and maintain security standards, hardening guidelines, and automation scripts for security controls
• Collaborate with global delivery and client teams to integrate security into projects and solutions
• Support risk assessments, compliance initiatives, and audit evidence collection
• Produce clear technical documentation, runbooks, and security architecture diagrams
