Lead engineering operations for a mission-critical data center, maintaining electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems for high availability. Oversee maintenance and emergency response, guide technical staff, manage infrastructure projects, and coordinate vendors, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety infrastructure.
- Respond to infrastructure emergencies and support customer-impact prevention and uptime.
- Direct, train, and mentor engineering operations technicians in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Manage local and regional infrastructure projects, tracking milestones, costs, and outcomes.
- Coordinate vendors and internal teams on maintenance, construction, retrofits, and commissioning.
- Standardize safety, maintenance, risk assessment, and operational readiness procedures.
