Lead Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Join Leidos' Air Traffic team to integrate and test software supporting flight planning and other services for pilots. Develop and execute test plans, automate regression testing, troubleshoot system issues, track defects, and verify fixes in a safety-critical Agile environment. The role follows a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote and requires the ability to obtain a favorable FAA Public Trust investigation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures to verify software functionality, performance, and requirements compliance.
• Debug system-level issues and provide supporting data on identified problems.
• Document and track system defects and verify fixes.
• Learn system architecture, design, functions, and capabilities to support integration and testing of new features and enhancements.
• Perform system checkouts in physical and virtual test labs to confirm systems are configured and ready for testing.
• Execute manual and automated regression tests following software updates, adaptations, and lab patching.
