10 years in QA with 3 years as ArchitectTools: Selenium Playwright/Cypress Appium RestAssuredLanguages: Java/Python/JSStrong API & microservices testing experienceCI/CD Agile DevOps exposureDefine and implement automation frameworks (UI API Mobile)Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins)Drive QE practices (Shift Left/Right BDD/TDD)Ensure compliance with OSFI PIPEDA PCI-DSSOversee testing for digital banking payments lending systemsMentor teams and enforce quality governance
Key Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for core banking applications.
•Build and maintain Java-based test automation frameworks and test suites.
•Validate end-to-end business processes across distributed and mainframe-based systems.
•Collaborate with business, development, and QA teams to ensure quality delivery.
•Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
Required Skills
•Strong experience in Java-based test automation (e.g., Selenium, API automation, custom automation frameworks).
•Experience in functional and integration testing of enterprise applications.
•Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
•Ability to work in Agile delivery environments.
Preferred Skills
•Experience with mainframe test automation tools and practices.
•Understanding of mainframe systems, data flows, batch processing, and interfaces.
•Exposure to core banking platforms and banking domain processes.
•Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation integration.
