Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite) Duration: Fulltime Skills: Automation Testing Salary: 100K-110K/Year Required Skills & Qualifications: Roles & Responsibilities - We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our technology team and help drive quality across modern web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation, a solid understanding of software quality engineering best practices, and exposure to AI-powered development and testing tools. Experience within the banking or financial services industry is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Load testing using JMeter
- Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and architects to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Develop automated testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- Explore and leverage AI-assisted testing tools and practices to improve efficiency and test coverage.
Required Qualifications - 5 years of Quality Assurance and Test Automation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing in modern DevOps environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.
- Exposure to AI technologies, AI-assisted software development, or AI-driven test automation solutions.
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments and modern application architectures.
