The ideal candidate is highly organized, excels in data validation and reporting operations, and has hands-on experience with Power BI, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Excel, and Workday. Success in this role depends on operational excellence, reliability, and the ability to independently manage recurring reporting processes during month-end cycles.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Dashboard Management

  • Execute monthly refreshes of established Power BI dashboards used by HR Business Partners (HRBPs), HR Administrators (HRAs), and Finance stakeholders.
  • Validate refreshed dashboard data against Workday and Alteryx-generated source files prior to publication.
  • Troubleshoot routine dataset refresh failures, DAX measure issues, and data model inconsistencies.
  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary while ensuring timely resolution.

SharePoint Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain and update SharePoint lists, reports, and reporting repositories used by Finance and Marketing RFP teams.
  • Publish scheduled monthly reports and verify data accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure reporting assets remain current, reliable, and accessible to stakeholders.

Operational Support (ServiceNow)

  • Manage and resolve assigned ServiceNow support requests, averaging 2-3 requests per day.
  • Respond to report scheduling requests, basic data inquiries, and report-related questions.
  • Submit access and entitlement requests through JIRA in accordance with established processes.
  • Communicate request status, updates, and resolutions clearly and professionally to stakeholders.

Process Improvement

  • Identify recurring manual processes and reporting inefficiencies.
  • Document opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Recommend practical improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, analytics, or data operations roles.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, including:
    • Dataset refresh management
    • Report validation
    • DAX troubleshooting
  • Experience managing service requests through ServiceNow and submitting requests via JIRA.
  • Familiarity with Workday as a source for reporting and analytics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet deadlines during high-volume month-end periods.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee and compensation data with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder support skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Alteryx workflows and output files.
  • Exposure to HR, workforce, or people analytics data, including headcount, compensation, performance, or talent metrics.
  • Experience maintaining SharePoint lists, reports, and reporting environments.
  • Proven ability to identify and recommend automation opportunities in reporting and operational processes.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders in HR, Finance, or Marketing environments.

What Success Looks Like

By the end of the assignment, the successful candidate will:

  • Independently refresh, validate, and publish monthly dashboards and reports on schedule with minimal oversight.
  • Ensure month-end reporting activities are completed accurately and reliably without requiring team intervention.
  • Independently resolve at least 50% of assigned ServiceNow support requests, including report scheduling, access request coordination, and basic data inquiries.
