BMO Financial is seeking a Sr Solution Architect to design and lead end-to-end technology solutions across our Finance & Insurance businesses. You will define target architectures, integration patterns, and API strategies that support secure, compliant, and scalable banking and insurance platforms. In this role, you'll partner closely with business, product, security, and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs and regulatory requirements. Operating in a collaborative, inclusive culture, you'll guide cloud adoption, modernize legacy systems, and mentor delivery teams while shaping roadmaps that impact millions of customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex banking and insurance initiatives
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure technical designs
- Define target architectures, integration patterns, and API strategies across platforms
- Partner with business, product, security, and engineering teams to align on solutions
- Guide cloud adoption and modernization of legacy systems within governance standards
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, and roadmaps
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data privacy requirements
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and review for delivery teams
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and vendors for key initiatives
- Support estimation, planning, and risk management for solution delivery
