Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks an InfraDelivery Technician to build, deploy, and maintain AWS data center infrastructure. You will install and configure servers, networking, and storage, ensure capacity is delivered on time, and execute changes with high reliability. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware issues, coordinating with network and service teams, updating asset records, and following strict safety and security procedures. You will contribute to continuous improvement, use data to drive decisions, and support large-scale, customer-critical cloud operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test servers, storage, and network equipment in AWS data centers
- Perform rack/stack, cabling, labeling, and asset tracking for new and existing infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connectivity, and performance issues
- Execute approved changes and maintenance following operational runbooks and change controls
- Collaborate with network, systems, and capacity teams to deliver infrastructure on schedule
- Monitor infrastructure health and respond to incidents and alerts
- Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of data center assets and configurations
- Follow safety, physical security, and compliance procedures within the data center
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase reliability and efficiency
- Support on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance windows as required
