HVAC Building Controls Application Engineer

Johnson Controls seeks an HVAC Building Controls Application Engineer to design, program, and commission smart building automation solutions for commercial and industrial customers. In this role, you will develop HVAC control applications, sequences, and graphics; configure and test building management systems; and troubleshoot field issues to optimize comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. Responsibilities

• Design and engineer HVAC building control applications based on project specifications
• Program, configure, and test building automation and control systems
• Commission and troubleshoot HVAC controls to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and customers to define control strategies
• Develop control sequences, graphics, and documentation for building management systems
• Support integration of controls with other building systems and IT networks
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
• Provide technical support, training, and handover to customers and service teams
