Application Architect

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Application Architect to design and govern scalable, secure application architectures supporting our global wholesale technology operations. In this role, you will define standards, select technologies, and create end-to-end solutions that integrate enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and data services. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into resilient architectures, lead design reviews, and guide implementation teams. Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure application architectures for enterprise systems and platforms
• Define and maintain application architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into solution designs
• Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Evaluate and select technologies, tools, and integration approaches to support business objectives
• Ensure architectures align with security, compliance, and performance requirements
• Create and maintain architectural diagrams, documentation, and roadmaps
• Mentor development teams on architectural principles, patterns, and implementation approaches
