Job Title: Market Research Analyst
Location: Plano, TX, 75023
Duration: 06 months Contract
Pay Scale: $40-48/hr(The compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, geographic location, and other applicable factors, and will fall within the posted pay range)

Job Responsibilities:
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
- Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
- Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
- Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
- Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
- Direct trained survey interviewers.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis to assess market dynamics, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences in the mobile, home entertainment, and digital appliances segments.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources, including market reports, industry publications, and internal databases, to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Competitive Intelligence at Client to align analytical objectives with the subsidiary's Mystery Shop Data needs.
- Utilize in-house tools, Tableau and techniques, with a focus on Excel, to organize and interpret complex data sets.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and retail execution sales teams, to provide strategic insights and support decision-making processes.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay informed of market trends and emerging threats or opportunities.
- Assist in the development of competitive intelligence strategies and frameworks to enhance the company's competitive position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in competitive analysis, market research, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in Excel, data analysis, and visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in the consumer electronics industry or related sectors is preferred but not required.
