Arrow Electronics is seeking an Embedded Network Engineer to design, develop, and optimize embedded networking solutions for industrial and wholesale trade applications. You will architect firmware and software for networked devices, integrate communication protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, MQTT), and ensure secure, reliable data exchange across complex systems. Partner with product, hardware, and solution engineering teams to debug, test, and deploy scalable solutions. You'll support customers and internal teams, contribute to design reviews, and drive continuous improvement in performance, security, and interoperability across global projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded networking firmware and software for industrial and wholesale trade applications.
- Integrate and optimize network protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, and MQTT on embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware, product, and solutions teams to define requirements and architect system-level designs.
- Debug, test, and validate embedded network components using lab equipment and structured test plans.
- Implement and support security best practices for networked embedded devices.
- Support customers and internal stakeholders with technical troubleshooting and integration guidance.
- Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and coding standards for embedded networking projects.
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing embedded networking solutions.
