Computer Systems Engineer

Leidos seeks a Computer Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize secure IT solutions within the Information Technology department. In this mission-driven, highly collaborative role, you will architect, implement, and troubleshoot complex systems supporting national security, health, and engineering programs. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, system design, configuration, automation, performance tuning, and documentation, while ensuring cybersecurity, reliability, and compliance. Responsibilities

• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into secure, scalable system architectures
• Design, configure, and integrate servers, storage, networks, and cloud platforms
• Implement and maintain system automation, monitoring, and performance tuning
• Ensure cybersecurity, compliance, and reliability across all IT systems
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Develop technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, software, network, and project teams on solutions
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and digital modernization initiatives
• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of new capabilities
• Provide technical input to proposals, estimates, and project planning
