We are seeking an experienced CADD Support Consultant to assist in the deployment, configuration, and day-to-day support of engineering CADD software and standardized workspaces. This role collaborates closely with engineering personnel to test, implement, and maintain design systems while providing troubleshooting and workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for internal and external users via an enterprise ticketing system.
Assist with software installations, workspace configurations, and updates.
Maintain engineering software standards, establish best practices, and author technical documentation such as workflows and how-to guides.
Develop and deliver user training sessions on CADD applications and workspace standards.
Document and revise business processes to align with updated software requirements.
Evaluate emerging CADD technologies and recommend enhancements to improve design workflows.
Required Qualifications
2 4 years of hands-on experience supporting, developing, testing, and implementing CADD software platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Bentley design suites, specifically OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, MicroStation, and InRoads.
2 4 years of experience documenting technical workflows and business process requirements.
Proven ability to troubleshoot workstation software and workspace integration issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in civil or transportation engineering.
Experience working in public sector or state-level transportation infrastructure environments.
Scripting or programming experience in Python (strongly preferred) or Visual Basic.
Prior experience developing or conducting CADD software training.
Working Conditions:
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Position Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday Friday, 40 hours/week
Required / Desired Skills
Documenting/revising existing and new business processes to meet new/revised CADD software requirements Required - 2 Years
Experience with supporting the development, testing, and implementation of CADD software. Required - 2 Years
Experience working with CADD software (i.e.; Bentley OpenRoads Designer and Bentley OpenBridge Bentley InRoads and Microstation SS2, CAiC Required - 2 Years
Some knowledge of Visual Basic is preferred. Python is strongly preferred. Required - 2 Years
