Element Care is seeking a Forward Deployed Application Developer to build and deploy solutions that support frail seniors in PACE community-based care. You will work closely with clinicians, social workers, and operations staff to translate real-world care workflows into secure, reliable applications that enhance coordination, documentation, and analytics. Responsibilities include full-stack development, integration with EHR and healthcare data systems, troubleshooting production issues, and iterating quickly based on user feedback. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications that support PACE care delivery and operations.
- Collaborate directly with clinicians, social workers, and operations staff to understand workflows and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate applications with EHRs and other healthcare data systems using standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Ensure security, privacy, and compliance with HIPAA and internal data governance standards.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, including on-site support with users when needed.
- Implement automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices to maintain code quality.
- Gather and incorporate user feedback to iterate rapidly on features and user experience.
- Create technical documentation for applications, integrations, and deployment processes.
- Partner with analytics teams to enable data capture and reporting that support clinical and operational decision-making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools within a collaborative, mission-driven team.
