Edward Jones seeks a Senior Platform Engineer / MuleSoft Platform Architect to design, implement, and optimize our enterprise integration platform supporting critical financial and wealth management services. You will architect scalable MuleSoft APIs, build reusable integration frameworks, and ensure reliability, performance, and security across cloud and on prem systems. Partner with security, application, and operations teams to define integration standards, automate CI/CD, and enhance observability. This role requires deep MuleSoft expertise, strong DevOps practices, and experience in regulated, high availability financial environments.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design Mule
- Soft-based integration solutions for enterprise financial systems
- Develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations using Mule
- Soft Anypoint Platform
- Establish and maintain integration standards, patterns, and best practices
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code for integrations
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance, reliability, and scalability
- Partner with security and compliance to ensure integrations meet regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with application, data, and operations teams on solution design and delivery
- Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to engineering teams
- Support incident response and root-cause analysis for integration-related issues
- Evaluate and introduce new integration tools, features, and practices
