RCH1, a leader in retirement plan services, is seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to enhance our IT team. As a crucial player in managing and safeguarding our database systems, the SQL DBA will focus on optimizing database performance, ensuring security, and executing flawless data migrations and back-ups. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to provide seamless automatic rollover solutions and helping us reduce account cashouts while promoting account consolidation. By prioritizing database efficiency and integrity, the SQL DBA will directly contribute to RCH1's commitment to operational excellence and innovative financial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot database instances.
- Ensure database performance, availability, and security.
- Regularly perform database back-up and recovery procedures.
- Set up and maintain documentation and standards.
- Work closely with IT project managers and data analysts.
- Optimize in implementing and maintaining database security and database encryption.
- Perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure the highest level of system performance and availability.
- Regular data audits, participate in capacity planning.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with SQL server administration and maintenance.
- Knowledge of reporting, query tools and practices.
- Good understanding of information legislation, such as GDPR.
