Job Description

Leidos is seeking a Database Administrator to support mission-critical IT systems for government clients. In this TS/SCI with Polygraph role, you will install, configure, secure, and maintain enterprise databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity. Responsibilities include backup and recovery, performance tuning, scripting, and automation, as well as troubleshooting complex issues in secure environments. You will collaborate with software, cyber, and systems engineering teams, follow strict compliance standards, and document configurations. Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain secure enterprise database environments
  • Monitor database performance and execute tuning and optimization tasks
  • Design and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Implement and maintain database security in TS/SCI Poly environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and data access issues
  • Develop scripts and automation for deployment, maintenance, and monitoring
  • Support database upgrades, patching, and schema changes
  • Collaborate with software, cyber, and systems engineering teams on data solutions
  • Document database configurations, standards, and operating procedures
  • Ensure compliance with government and Leidos security and audit requirements
