Job Description

Leidos seeks a Cloud Security Team Lead to guide a high-performing security engineering team protecting mission-critical government and commercial systems. In this role, you will architect and implement secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP; define standards and controls; and drive automation for monitoring, incident response, and compliance. You'll collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering to embed security into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and digital modernization initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a cloud security engineering team supporting mission-critical systems
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures across AWS/Azure/GCPDefine and enforce cloud security standards, policies, and best practices
  • Implement identity, access management, encryption, and network security controls
  • Coordinate vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation
  • Collaborate with Dev
  • Ops and engineering on secure CI/CD and infrastructure as code
  • Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews for new solutions
  • Develop security monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud environments
  • Partner with stakeholders to meet regulatory, compliance, and customer requirements
  • Champion continuous improvement, automation, and security-by-design culture
