Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Technician for a night role supporting AWS's global cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain AWS data center infrastructure during night shifts, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform hardware installations, swaps, and troubleshooting for servers, storage, and network equipment.
- Respond to and resolve alarms, incidents, and service tickets within defined SLAs.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and health checks on critical systems.
- Follow standard operating procedures and update documentation for changes and incidents.
- Collaborate with network, systems, and facilities teams to support large-scale cloud operations.
- Ensure compliance with security, safety, and access control policies in the data center.
- Assist with capacity planning, inventory management, and hardware lifecycle activities.
