We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the post-implementation stabilization and troubleshooting of integrations between Workday and external benefits providers. In this role, you will act as a key liaison across business stakeholders, Workday functional and technical teams, integration developers, and third-party benefit providers.

The primary objective is to trace data and transaction issues across multiple integrations to determine root causes identifying whether discrepancies stem from source data, Workday configuration, benefit/retirement plan rules, integration mappings, timing/processing schedules, or expected system behavior.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations and data exchanges between Workday and external benefits/retirement providers.
Trace end-to-end employee lifecycle, payroll, and benefits transactions (e.g., new hires, transfers, job/compensation changes, terminations) impacting eligibility, enrollments, deductions, and reporting.
Investigate discrepancies across inbound/outbound files, XML/JSON payloads, flat files, transaction logs, and error reports to pinpoint issue origin.
Partner with benefits and retirement subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex business rules and plan requirements into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain clear end-to-end data flow diagrams illustrating transaction lifecycles across system boundaries.
Help distinguish genuine defects from intended configuration behavior or misunderstood business logic.
Validate functional fixes and confirm corrected transactions yield expected results across both Workday and external vendor systems.
Provide clear root-cause analysis documentation, status reporting, and actionable recommendations for system or process enhancements.

Required Qualifications
Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst supporting HCM ERP implementations, post-go-live stabilization, or complex enterprise system integrations.
Strong analytical and root-cause troubleshooting skills with the ability to follow data across distributed systems.
Hands-on experience analyzing data mappings, transformation rules, transaction logs, and interface error files.
Demonstrated ability to translate intricate business processes into structured functional/technical requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging technical teams and non-technical business partners.
Ability to manage multiple issue tracks independently, spot recurring patterns, and drive issues to complete resolution.

Preferred Qualifications
Deep functional and integration knowledge of Workday HCM, Benefits, and Payroll.
Prior experience supporting integrations with third-party insurance carriers, pension administrators, retirement plan systems, or payroll vendors.
Familiarity with retirement/pension plan administration, including eligibility rules, vesting, and contribution calculations.
Working knowledge of integration technologies and formats (e.g., APIs, web services, XML, JSON, delimited flat files, middleware).
