Data Center Manager

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead operations for DCC communities supporting its global retail and e commerce platforms. You will own uptime, capacity, and incident management across critical infrastructure, partnering with AWS, operations, and vendor teams. Using data and metrics, you will drive efficiency, safety, and compliance while planning hardware lifecycle and upgrades. You'll develop and mentor technicians, foster a culture of customer obsession and continuous improvement, and solve complex problems at global scale in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day data center operations across DCC communities, ensuring high availability and reliability for retail and e commerce systems
• Manage infrastructure capacity, incident response, and change management to meet performance, security, and compliance standards
• Oversee vendor relationships, maintenance activities, and hardware lifecycle, including upgrades and decommissioning
• Use metrics and data to drive continuous improvement in uptime, efficiency, safety, and cost optimization
• Coach and develop operations technicians, fostering Amazon's culture of ownership, safety, and customer obsession
