Location: Summit, NJ, hybrid, 2-3 days a week onsiteType: Ongoing contract opportunity; Part time or full time depending on skill setCompensation Range: $40-$60/hr W2, depending on experienceWe are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Structure Color Specialist to own the end-to-end color matching process across our client's Skin Health brand portfolio. In this role, you will focus on achieving visual color cohesion across 3D structural packaging components-including plastic resins, caps, pumps, closures, and glass components. You will serve as the key bridge between Design vision and supplier manufacturing, taking ownership from initial target selection through final production approval. Responsibilities:Color Target Selection & Alignment: Collaborate with Design, Marketing, and Leadership to establish color targets for structural packaging (excluding paper cartons)-referencing brand swatches, PMS colors, competitive samples, or custom color house targets.Color House & Vendor Collaboration: Partner directly with color houses and component suppliers to initiate color matching for plastic resin masterbatches, glass coatings, caps, pumps, and closures.Sample Review & PCR Management: Evaluate physical color submissions (plaques, chips, molded components) against approved targets. Actively manage color variations and hazing caused by Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) resin content.On-Site Matching & Adjustments: Attend supplier color-matching sessions as needed to make real-time, on-site adjustments and expedite final approvals.Final Approval & Standard Distribution: Obtain leadership approval on matched colors and distribute official physical/digital color standards to packaging partners and manufacturing sites globally.Archive & System Maintenance: Maintain a centralized master tracking system and archive for all approved color standards, sample histories, visual tolerance limits, and supplier references.Light Production & Artwork Review: Perform basic artwork file checks and light adjustments in Adobe Illustrator to support color profiling and packaging evaluation.
