Job Description
Duties and responsibilities include: Collaborate with the Development, Security, Cloud Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance (QA) Teams to drive the DevOps pipeline. Act as a subject-matter expert to the DevOps team, providing mentorship and feedback on technical capabilities, sharing experiences, and building lasting relationships. Coordinate with other IT leaders to establish value stream objectives and key results. Build tools and services and establish processes both within and around the development pipeline. Work with engineers on the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of DevOps capabilities. Define, track, and report on key metrics. Drive close alignment between the engineering teams, product teams, and business stakeholders. Establish frequent feedback from customers. Manage team priorities and efforts using Agile and Kanban methods. Use data to determine priorities and deliver on business outcomes. Champion the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: A bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign degree equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field. Experience: Five years of experience in a software engineering-related occupation. SKILLS/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience must include the following: 1. Five years of experience supporting container-based solutions, such as AWS ECS, or Kubernetes 2. Four years of experience building CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment to multiple platforms, using CI/CD tools 3. Three years of experience leading teams and liaising with multi-functional partners or client users 4. Two years of experience working with IAC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation 5. One year of experience working with Data Warehouse technologies, including Oracle and ETL Experience may be gained concurrently. Basic pay is one hundred fifty-five thousand eight hundred dollars to two hundred thirty-three thousand seven hundred dollars annually for full-time employment and standard company benefits.
