Job Summary The Application Manager will be responsible for the organization's portfolio of business applications across various departments. This will include development, implementation, upgrades, daily management, and maintenance, Stakeholder management, application availability, system and people performance will be part of the critical responsibilities. Job Description Medline Industries, LP is seeking Manager, Applications to join our team in Northbrook, IL. Job Description: Lead and manage a cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Front and Backend Developers, and Quality Engineers supporting enterprise eCommerce and digital platforms. Oversee the full application lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Provide strategic direction and leadership for application architecture, integrations, and technical solution design. Define, implement, and enforce standards for requirements documentation, configuration management, and change control. Establish and manage project priorities, scope, and schedules in collaboration with Product Owners and business stakeholders. Monitor team performance and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of application features and enhancements. Drive operational excellence by defining KPIs for application performance, reliability, and observability. Oversee implementation of monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks in coordination with SRE and DevOps teams. Collaborate with Enterprise Cloud and Infrastructure teams to ensure scalability, security, and compliance of deployed solutions. Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution. Ensure adherence to IT governance, SDLC processes, and change management controls within an agile environment. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource plans for the applications portfolio. Review and approve functional, technical, and architectural documentation to ensure quality and alignment with business goals. Oversee testing, release management, and deployment readiness for new features and system enhancements. Support production operations and incident management, ensuring minimal business disruption and timely resolution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery processes, system performance, and user experience. Foster collaboration across product, design, QA, DevOps, and business teams to achieve successful outcomes. Provide coaching, performance reviews, and professional development opportunities for team members. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools to enhance system capabilities and operational efficiency. Develop training materials, knowledge documentation, and transition plans to support business and IT operations. Job Requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or its foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant work experience. In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Managing and directing application delivery for SaaS platforms in Agile environments, providing leadership and oversight for multiple teams, facilitating PI planning, defining project priorities, monitoring progress, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives, and managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments using Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams; (2) Leading analytics and performance initiatives, leveraging tools including Google Analytics to monitor user engagement, track adoption metrics, and guide strategic enhancements across applications; (3) Managing financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation for technology initiatives, conducting cost-benefit analysis, budget tracking, and financial oversight, leveraging Coupa for financial and project cost management; (4) Conducting portfolio planning and delivery, managing implementations, enhancements, and lifecycle processes for SaaS solutions while driving team performance and managing multiple concurrent projects, utilizing Shibumi for portfolio planning, project tracking, and reporting; and (5) Operating within healthcare domains, including Utilization Management. JOB SITE: 2375 Waterview Dr, Northbrook, IL 60062 WORK HOURS: Full Time (8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday) PAY RANGE: $160,000.00 to $201,000.00 per year Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
