Job Description

Our client, a global leader in energy and power generation solutions, is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join their team. As an Automation Test Engineer IV, you will be part of the Engineering and Testing department supporting cross-functional Product Development and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automation Test Engineer
Location: Wilmington, NC
Pay Range: $62/hour

What's the Job?
  • Develop specifications, testing procedures, and documentation for electronic components
  • Design, verify, and test power distribution and control systems
  • Develop manual and automated test procedures to ensure product reliability
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support technicians during testing
  • Collaborate with sourcing, quality teams, suppliers, and internal engineering groups
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in power electronics engineering
  • Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics
  • Experience with testing, validation, and product development lifecycle
