Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst Intermediate with strong expertise in Epic Hospital Billing and Claims to support ongoing healthcare IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Epic build, configuration, optimization, support, and troubleshooting related to hospital billing workflows and claims management processes.
The candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on Epic support experience, and the ability to collaborate with operational and technical teams to improve revenue cycle performance and system efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Epic applications in a healthcare environment
- Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification required
- Experience supporting Epic Claims workflows and revenue cycle operations
- Strong understanding of hospital billing, claims processing, denial management, and reimbursement workflows
- Experience with Epic build, testing, validation, upgrades, and workflow optimization
- Ability to troubleshoot application issues and provide end-user support
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including billing, finance, and IT departments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Epic HB and Claims applications
- Analyze business requirements and implement system enhancements
- Perform build, testing, configuration, and system validation activities
- Support issue resolution, workflow improvements, and production support activities
- Collaborate with operational teams to optimize billing and claims processes
