Job Title: Controls Programmer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting Building Automation Systems with a strong focus on Siemens platforms, while also working with Niagara, Open+, and other advanced technologies. This role emphasizes customer service, technical expertise in HVAC and control systems, and the ability to manage and execute fieldwork independently.

Responsibilities

  • Program, commission, troubleshoot, and support Building Automation Systems, especially focusing on Siemens platforms.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Service, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers in the market.
  • Independently manage and execute fieldwork, ensuring projects stay within budget and are completed efficiently.
  • Conduct owner training sessions and mentor junior technicians.
  • Communicate professionally with clients to build and sustain long-term relationships.

Essential Skills

  • Deep hands-on experience with Siemens, Niagara, Open+, and related systems.
  • Strong expertise in HVAC and direct digital controls (DDC) systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently without supervision.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the controls or construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in HVAC or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of refrigeration machinery and related tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves working in an office environment at your desk, reviewing blueprints and schematics, programming, and testing controls equipment. Occasional travel to job sites is required to support project execution. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
