The QA/QC Technician performs quality assurance and quality control audits within data center environments, focusing on telecom and structured cabling installations. This role verifies that all equipment and cabling are installed correctly, tested, dressed properly, and functioning as designed, while maintaining strict adherence to industry, manufacturer, and internal standards. The position requires a detail-oriented, self-starting professional who can think like an auditor, clearly document findings, and collaborate with project teams to drive continuous improvement in quality and compliance.

Work Environment
This role is based primarily in data center environments, working around telecom equipment, structured cabling, and critical infrastructure. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday in 5-8 hour shifts, commonly around 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There may be occasional weekend work, and in some cases weekend shifts could be mandatory, so candidates should be comfortable with this level of flexibility. The work involves moving through active technical spaces, performing inspections, audits, and documentation on installed equipment and cabling. The environment is professional and safety-conscious, with an expectation of appropriate attire suitable for data center and job-site conditions, adherence to site protocols, and consistent use of required safety practices and tools.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
