Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NC Programmer with a strong background in programming machining equipment for the aerospace industry. This role is integral in the manufacture of precision-machined parts, ensuring efficiency and precision in every project.

Responsibilities

• Write and modify CNC programs and instruction sheets for multi-axis machined parts.
• Coordinate program start-ups in manufacturing and assist in troubleshooting.
• Provide recommendations for the selection of cutting tools.
• Monitor performance of programs after implementation and make necessary adjustments.
• Evaluate requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, and time estimates.
• Maintain program files and ensure their accuracy.
• Analyze, review, and recommend modifications to existing programs to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes.

Essential Skills

• Minimum three years of experience using CATIA v. 5 or Mastercam.
• More than three years of experience programming five-axis CNC machines.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Strong grasp of mathematical concepts including geometry and trigonometry.
• Experience with computer modeling software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Two years of machining experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Capability to meet strict deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
