Platform Test Engineer RQ16522 - On Site in RTP (Morrisville, NC)

Contract Up to $50/hr No Remote Work No Third Parties



Our Global Fortune 500 Technology Leader within the enterprise server space is seeking a Platform Test Engineer to support validation efforts for next generation infrastructure products. This is a great opportunity for engineers who thrive in a hands on lab environment and enjoy working directly with advanced server hardware and firmware.

What You'll Do

Execute functional test plans on enterprise server platforms

Configure, deploy, and reconfigure server hardware

Investigate new platform features and system behaviors

Review test plans and provide feedback to validation teams

Document defects and help drive issue resolution

Identify automation opportunities and develop/request tools

What You Bring

Strong Linux experience (required)

Familiarity with RedHat, SuSE, Ubuntu, Windows Server, VMware

Understanding of UEFI, systems management protocols, and server architecture (Intel/AMD/ARM)

Experience with validation, unit testing, or error injection

Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications

Python scripting experience (a plus)

Clear communication skills and strong problem solving abilities

This is a fully on site role. Remote/hybrid options are not available.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
