Position Overview
Cummings Plumbing Inc. is seeking an experienced, results-driven SEO & Website Manager to oversee our company's website, improve Google search rankings, strengthen our online presence, and increase qualified customer leads.
We are looking for a dedicated, full-time employee who can take ownership of our website and digital search performance, develop and implement effective SEO strategies, and consistently deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Develop and implement strategies to improve organic Google search rankings.
- Improve visibility in Google Maps and local search results.
- Conduct keyword research targeting plumbing, HVAC, and related services.
- Analyze competitor rankings and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize website content, service pages, and landing pages.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
- Develop strategies to increase organic website traffic and qualified customer leads.
Website Management
- Manage, maintain, and regularly update the company website.
- Ensure the website is functioning properly, secure, mobile-friendly, and optimized for speed.
- Create and update website pages, content, images, and promotions.
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Implement improvements to increase customer engagement and conversions.
- Coordinate website enhancements and updates as needed.
Google Business Profile & Local SEO
- Manage and optimize the company's Google Business Profile.
- Implement strategies to improve rankings in Google Maps and local searches.
- Maintain accurate business information across online directories.
- Monitor online reviews and assist with reputation management.
- Improve visibility throughout Tucson and surrounding service areas.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
- Track keyword rankings, organic website traffic, phone calls, and customer inquiries.
- Provide monthly performance reports outlining results, improvements, and opportunities.
- Establish measurable goals for increased search visibility and lead generation.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in SEO and website management.
- Demonstrated success improving Google rankings and organic search traffic.
- Strong knowledge of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
- Experience with WordPress or comparable website platforms.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs.
- Understanding of technical SEO, website performance, and conversion optimization.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous SEO experience in plumbing, HVAC, or other home-service industries.
- Experience improving Google Maps rankings for local service businesses.
- Knowledge of website design, development, and digital marketing.
- Demonstrated success generating qualified leads through organic search.
