Senior Vice President, Solution Architect

BNY seeks a Senior Vice President, Solution Architect to lead the design of secure, scalable solutions across our global asset servicing, investment management, and digital banking platforms. In this senior role, you will define target architectures, standards, and patterns that align technology strategy with business goals and regulatory requirements. You will partner with product, engineering, risk, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, govern architecture through reviews and roadmaps, mitigate technical and security risks, and mentor architects and engineers in a culture of innovation, integrity, and client focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design for complex finance and insurance solutions across BNY's global platforms
• Align technology roadmaps with business strategy, regulatory needs, and client requirements
• Define reference architectures, standards, and patterns for scalable, secure systems
• Collaborate with product, engineering, risk, and business stakeholders to design end-to-end solutions
• Evaluate and select technologies, cloud services, and integration approaches
• Govern solution designs through review, documentation, and architecture boards
• Mitigate technical, security, and operational risks in proposed solutions
• Mentor architects and engineers, fostering best practices and innovation
