Perform site surveys and RF measurements, analyze system performance, create system drawings and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet user requirements. The role requires physical work such as climbing antennas and carrying equipment, plus up to 15% worldwide travel.
Responsibilities
- Design, install, and test RF systems and SATCOM components.
- Conduct site surveys, climb antennas, and rack hardware while following safety protocols.
- Test RF performance using specialized equipment and conduct spectral, modulation, and bit error rate analyses.
- Measure and analyze S-parameters, P1d
- B, TOI, noise figure, phase noise, and group delay.
- Create system drawings and documentation, including block diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings.
- Collaborate with system architects and project managers to ensure systems meet requirements and schedules.
