Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls professional to lead project cost, schedule, risk, issue tracking, reporting, and PMO operations for strategic IT programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor project controllers, schedulers, analysts, and specialists.
- Oversee project controls in accordance with Stage Gate and PMO standards.
- Monitor project costs, schedules, risks, issues, estimates, and performance metrics.
- Prepare executive and steering committee reports.
- Partner with project managers to develop mitigation and corrective action plans.
- Manage workload distribution, performance management, policies, and team development.
- Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement across the project controls environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of project controls experience within technology/IT projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, risk management, PMO, and project governance.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- Experience leading teams and managing performance, compliance, and employee relations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primavera Project Management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- PMP certification
- Agile certification
- Primavera certification
- Experience with ServiceNow SMP
