Project Manager - IT Infrastructure & SAP Exposure
Location: Tampa, FL (100% On-site)
Certification Required: PMP Certification
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in IT Infrastructure and hands-on exposure to SAP environments. We are looking for a driven, highly organized leader to join our team on-site in Tampa, Florida to direct key technology initiatives from initiation through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Delivery: Lead planning, execution, tracking, and closure for complex IT infrastructure projects (servers, networks, cloud environments).
- SAP Coordination: Support and align project workflows involving SAP systems, upgrades, or integrations.
- Governance & Risk Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks, manage budgets, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate regular project meetings, lead cross-functional technical teams, and deliver clear status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to project management best practices, organizational standards, and industry policies.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Certification: Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects.
- Technical Depth: Hands-on experience with core infrastructure components (servers, networking, cloud platforms) along with direct exposure to SAP environments (implementations, upgrades, or support).
- Methodologies: Solid grounding in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management frameworks.
- Communication: Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Work Location: Willingness and ability to work 100% on-site in Tampa, FL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the Utilities or Energy sectors.
- Familiarity with specific SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management practices.
