About the Project

Tiger Advisory is pursuing an Anaplan FP&A implementation for a U.S. chemical manufacturer in northern New Jersey. The solution will replace SAP BPC and Excel and support budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and integrated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow planning. It will integrate with SAP S/4HANA through SAP BTP/CPI.

The client has an existing solution design. The implementation team will validate that design and build, test, and deploy the solution.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Anaplan Solution Architect to lead solution architecture, build complex financial models, and oversee two implementation consultants. This role requires strong technical delivery skills and the ability to present design decisions to finance leadership and the client's Design Authority Board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate Data Hub and spoke architecture, DISCO/PLANS standards, model sizing, and Polaris versus Classic engine selection.
  • Present solution designs for client approval.
  • Build the Data Hub and complex financial modules, including integrated three-statement planning, balance sheet roll-forwards, and indirect cash flow.
  • Establish development standards, review consultant work, and lead sprint demonstrations.
  • Configure application lifecycle management (ALM), role-based security, selective access, and segregation of duties.
  • Support integration testing, UAT, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
  • Deliver documentation, train client model builders and administrators, and provide hypercare support.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in EPM/FP&A systems, including 5+ years of hands-on Anaplan experience.
  • Master Anaplanner or Anaplan Solution Architect certification.
  • Experience as architect on at least three full-lifecycle Anaplan FP&A implementations.
  • At least one implementation with integrated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow planning.
  • Deep knowledge of DISCO, PLANS, Data Hub design, ALM, and selective access.
  • Experience integrating Anaplan with SAP ECC or S/4HANA data.
  • Strong communication and client-facing presentation skills.
  • U.S. work authorization and availability to work onsite in northern New Jersey as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Polaris engine experience.
  • Manufacturing or chemical industry experience, including standard costing variances.
  • SAP BPC-to-Anaplan migration experience.
  • Experience with Anaplan CloudWorks or Anaplan Data Orchestrator.
