This role supports our Fortune 200 digital banking partner's production reliability and resiliency by helping application teams instrument, monitor, and operate services more effectively in a hybrid-cloud-based environment.
The engineer will build and maintain Dynatrace integrations and supporting services, define standard approaches for instrumentation, and help teams understand what their systems are doing and how they are performing in production. A key focus is ensuring teams can detect issues quickly, understand customer impact, and troubleshoot efficiently during incidents.
In addition to hands-on engineering work, the role partners directly with delivery and SRE teams' consistency across the enterprise.
About Our Client
Our partner is a leading digital financial services company with a strong commitment to doing it right for our customers, communities, and teammates. Technology is at the core of our client's strategy, enabling secure, resilient, and scalable digital experiences across the enterprise.
About the Team
The Intelligent Operations Engineering (IOE) team drives enterprise-wide observability, reliability, and operational maturity. We partner with application, platform, and SRE teams to enable business-focused observability, improve system resilience, and accelerate adoption of modern reliability practices while leveraging Dynatrace in a hybrid cloud environment.
This role contributes to shaping the future direction of the team's observability and reliability practices, helping ensure they scale with modern architectures, cloud adoption, and evolving customer expectations. The work is hands-on and collaborative, with a strong focus on practical outcomes rather than theory.
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with long-term experience in Dynatrace, AWS-based architectures, and modern observability practices. The ideal candidate brings strong Dynatrace backend and API experience, hands-on observability instrumentation skills, and a passion for enabling teams through coaching, patterns, and reusable solutions.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced SREs, platform engineers, and application teams to improve how services are instrumented and understood in production.
