Forward Deployed Engineer Frontier AI DC, Onsite

The opportunity
- Work directly with customers to solve challenging technical problems using cutting-edge AI
- Build and deploy production software, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered applications
- Own implementations end-to-end, from technical discovery and prototyping through deployment
- Collaborate with engineering, research, and product teams to turn emerging AI capabilities into real-world solutions
- Operate with high ownership in a fast-moving environment where your work directly shapes customer outcomes
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of software engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, or Solutions Engineering experience
- Strong Python skills and experience with another language such as TypeScript, Go, Java, or C++
- Experience building production-grade software, APIs, and backend services
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Comfortable working directly with customers and shipping reliable software quickly
Bonus: Experience deploying AI/LLM applications, working at a high-growth startup, or building in technically complex environments.
