Job Title: Citrix & NetScaler Engineer
Location: Lutz, FL
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week
Engagement: Long-Term Contract
About the Role
NetworkPedia is seeking an experienced Citrix & NetScaler Engineer to support and optimize enterprise infrastructure in a complex technical environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, NetScaler ADC/Gateway, application delivery, and infrastructure security. This role focuses on maintaining high availability, improving performance, managing security, and providing advanced troubleshooting across business-critical enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
- Manage and maintain NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway infrastructure.
- Support Web Application Firewall (WAF) administration and security initiatives.
- Perform system patching, upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application delivery, connectivity, and performance issues.
- Identify technical risks and recommend solutions to improve reliability and resiliency.
- Collaborate with Network, Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
- Establish and improve technical standards, operational procedures, and engineering best practices.
- Provide senior-level technical guidance and hands-on engineering support.
- Maintain high availability, security, stability, and optimal performance across supported environments.
- Document technical processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- Experience administering NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway.
- Knowledge of Web Application Firewall (WAF) administration.
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure administration and security.
- Experience with patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
- Strong infrastructure troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Understanding of high-availability architecture and application delivery management.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple technical teams and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise Citrix engineering experience.
- Experience with Citrix Cloud and Citrix DaaS.
- Familiarity with load balancing technologies.
- Experience integrating Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Knowledge of network security technologies and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and enterprise monitoring tools.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and provide technical guidance in a complex enterprise environment.
