Automation Engineer Manager

Specialized Component Parts Limited Inc (SCPL) is seeking an Automation Engineer Manager to lead automation initiatives supporting manufacturing and specialized component operations. SCPL serves OEM and industrial customers with engineered parts, technical sourcing, and supply-chain support. In this hands-on leadership role, you will identify process improvement opportunities, guide automation system design and integration, and oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. You will coordinate projects with operations, suppliers, and customers while managing schedules, resources, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate brings expertise in PLCs, HMI/SCADA, robotics, and manufacturing controls, along with a record of leading projects or teams. Responsibilities

• Lead automation engineering initiatives supporting manufacturing and component distribution operations.
• Assess processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and reliability through automation.
• Develop and oversee automation system designs, specifications, integration, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate projects with operations, suppliers, OEM customers, and other technical teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot automation systems and guide corrective and preventive improvements.
• Build team capabilities and promote a responsive, collaborative, customer-focused service culture.
