Job Description

GovCIO LLC seeks a Data Center Engineer / Architect to design, implement, and optimize secure, highly available data center and cloud-hybrid infrastructures for federal agencies. You will architect network, compute, storage, and virtualization solutions, automate deployments, and ensure scalability, performance, and disaster recovery. Partner with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and application teams to meet federal compliance and mission needs. Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, secure data center and cloud-hybrid solutions for federal customers.
  • Engineer and administer compute, storage, network, and virtualization platforms for high availability.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Implement monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning across data center environments.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal security, governance, and architecture standards (e.g., Fed
