Athenahealth is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize billing workflow capabilities for our cloud-based healthcare platform. You will architect scalable services, integrate with EHR and revenue cycle systems, and improve reliability and performance of billing features used by medical practices nationwide. Collaborating with product, data, and clinical teams, you'll translate complex healthcare and payment requirements into elegant technical solutions, mentor engineers, champion best practices, and support continuous delivery in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable billing workflow services for Athenahealth's cloud platform
- Integrate billing capabilities with EHR, revenue cycle, and payment systems
