Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits seeks a Senior Manager, Edge and Distributed Network Engineering to lead design, deployment, and optimization of secure edge and branch networks across our distribution footprint. You will own strategy for SD WAN, campus, and remote connectivity, ensuring high availability for logistics, sales, and warehouse operations. Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver resilient, scalable network services and guide a team of engineers through architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management while driving automation, standards, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and roadmap for edge and distributed network services across warehouses, offices, and remote sites.
- Oversee implementation, operation, and optimization of SD-WAN, routing, switching, and wireless solutions.
- Ensure network availability, performance, and security to support logistics, sales, and business-critical systems.
- Manage and mentor a team of network engineers, setting standards, priorities, and development plans.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams on secure, integrated network solutions.
- Drive network automation, monitoring, and documentation to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.
- Manage vendors, contracts, and lifecycle for network hardware, software, and services.
- Lead complex network projects and incident response, communicating status to technical and business stakeholders.
