Adventist Health seeks an Epic Certified EHR Systems Analyst III to lead advanced Epic configuration, optimization, and support across our faith-based, integrated health system. Responsibilities
- Configure, optimize, and support Epic EHR modules to meet clinical and operational needs
- Lead complex build, testing, and implementation initiatives across Epic applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level III incidents, defects, and integration issues
- Collaborate with clinicians, IT, and operational leaders to gather and refine requirements
- Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and change control records
- Create and execute test plans, validation scripts, and upgrade readiness activities
- Provide advanced user support, training, and optimization recommendations
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices and governance
Required Skills
- Epic EHR configuration and build
- Epic certification in one or more clinical or revenue cycle modules
- HL7 and healthcare interoperability standards
- EHR workflow analysis and process optimization
- SQL and reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito)
- System testing, validation, and change management
- Clinical and operational requirements gathering
- Healthcare data security and regulatory compliance (HIPAA)
- Incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Training and mentoring of analysts and super users
