Vantor seeks an RF SIGINT Technical Analyst to support mission-focused software and data solutions. In this role, you will analyze RF signal data, characterize emitters, and translate mission and sensor requirements into technical specifications for modern, cloud based analytics platforms. You will collaborate with software engineers and data teams to design, validate, and optimize signal processing workflows, tools, and dashboards. Responsibilities include authoring technical documentation, ensuring data quality, supporting test and evaluation, and advising clients on RF SIGINT capabilities in an agile, low ego environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze RF signal and SIGINT data to characterize emitters and mission environments
- Translate mission, sensor, and user needs into technical and data requirements
- Collaborate with software, data, and cloud engineers to design RF analytics solutions
- Define and validate signal processing workflows, tools, and dashboards
- Support test, evaluation, and performance tuning of RF SIGINT capabilities
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and proper handling of sensitive information
- Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
- Advise clients on RF SIGINT capabilities, tradeoffs, and solution options
- Contribute to agile ceremonies and iterative solution delivery
- Mentor team members on RF/SIGINT concepts and best practices as appropriate
Required Skills
- RF signal analysis
- SIGINT collection and exploitation
- Signal processing concepts (modulation, filtering, FFT)
- Tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar for data analysis
- Familiarity with SDR platforms and RF test equipment
- Cloud-based data and analytics platforms
- Technical requirements analysis and documentation
- Data visualization and dashboard tools
- Linux and scripting for data workflows
- Understanding of security and classification handling
