W2 Contract - 8 months with possible extensions!

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.81 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid weekly)

Work Model: Onsite role - 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Document Control Assistant to join our client's site in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support the scanning and archiving of physical files into a digital environment, including scanning microfiche using onsite equipment, capturing images into PC folders through scanner software, and ensuring all required images are successfully captured.

The Document Control Assistant will also assist in preparing and maintaining documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation, and user documentation, as well as translating business specifications into user documentation. The role works under general supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scan microfiche using an onsite scanner.
• Capture scanned images in folders on a PC using scanner software.
• Ensure all required images are properly captured.
• Adjust the scanner as necessary using provided tips and guidelines.
• Scan and archive physical files into a digital environment by following clear directions.
• Monitor scanner or similar office equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Notice equipment issues and make adjustments when equipment is not functioning properly, including trying multiple solutions.
• Traverse, create, and copy folders using Windows 10/11, both locally and on network shares.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation, and user documentation.
• Translate business specifications into user documentation.
• Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.
• Use limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Main Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED. Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow clear directions to scan and archive physical files into a digital environment.
• Strong detail-oriented skills to ensure quality output.
• Basic office and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a scanner or similar office equipment with the attention required to ensure proper functioning.
• Ability to notice and adjust equipment when improperly functioning, including trying multiple solutions.
• Ability to traverse, create, and copy folders in Windows 10/11, locally or on network shares.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
