OmniOn Power currently has a Quality Specialist opportunity available.

This role will be 100% remote, and the preferred locations are Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Ohio, or West Virginia.

The Quality Specialist supports the consistent delivery of high-quality field installation services across telecom, cable, and data-center customer environments. This role performs field audits to verify that completed work meets customer requirements, applicable regulatory and industry standards, internal procedures, and documentation requirements. This role will report to the Services Quality Leader.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :

As the Quality Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct field audits of telecom, cable, and data-center installations to verify workmanship, safety, completeness, and compliance with customer, regulatory, industry, and internal requirements.
  • Interpret customer standards, scopes of work, and installation requirements; communicate clear expectations to field teams and operational leaders.
  • Document audit results, identify nonconformances and recurring trends, and support corrective actions through closure and effectiveness verification.
  • Support the Services Quality Management System by maintaining audit records, contributing to procedures and work instructions, and promoting standardized execution across operations.
  • Partner with operations, project management, and field teams to resolve quality issues, reduce rework, improve customer satisfaction, and strengthen first-time quality.
  • Develop and deliver training, coaching, and feedback related to installation standards, audit findings, quality procedures, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze audit data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and best practices.
  • Share lessons learned and effective practices across teams to support consistent performance and continuous improvement.
  • Travel up to 60%, as required, to customer sites and operational locations.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10 years of field experience in a DC power installation role
  • Experience auditing, inspecting, installing, or managing work in telecom, cable, wireless, electrical, or data-center environments.
  • Working knowledge of customer installation standards, quality systems, field documentation, and corrective-action processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, scopes of work, standards, and installation documentation.
  • Knowledge of Engineering requirements of DC Power products and TELCO industry standards
  • Strong written communication, attention to detail, and ability to communicate findings constructively with field and operational teams.
  • Ability to work independently in field environments and manage travel requirements.


DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact across all organizational levels.
  • Licensed Master Electrician
  • Proficient in using computer-based management and administrative tools, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce (SFDC).
