Job Description

Rolls Royce Motor Cars seeks a Control System Configuration Manager to own configuration standards for our ultra luxury vehicle manufacturing systems. You will manage PLC and control software versions, change control, and documentation, ensuring traceability, stability, and cybersecurity across production lines. Partnering with engineering, quality, and production, you'll plan and deploy configuration releases, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain control system configuration standards for manufacturing lines
  • Manage version control, change management, and documentation for PLC and control software
  • Coordinate configuration releases with engineering, production, and quality teams
  • Monitor system performance and ensure configuration integrity and traceability
  • Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for control issues
  • Implement cybersecurity and access control best practices for control systems
  • Collaborate with BMW Group counterparts on shared tools and methods
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement in configuration processes and tooling
