Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. seeks a Vertical Engineering Lead for Technology Lab Services to shape and run advanced technology environments that power innovation in commercial real estate. You will design and govern lab platforms used to prototype, test, and validate digital solutions spanning smart buildings, data platforms, automation, and cloud-based services. Partnering with business, IT, and client teams, you'll align lab capabilities with portfolio and client needs, ensure secure and reliable operations, manage vendors, and lead a high-performing technical team in a performance-driven, client-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, roadmap, and operations for Technology Lab Services supporting JLL's real estate technology initiatives.
- Design and oversee implementation of lab environments for testing, prototyping, and validating technology solutions.
- Partner with business, IT, and client teams to prioritize lab use cases and align services with portfolio and client needs.
- Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of lab platforms, tools, and environments.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets related to technology lab services.
- Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics for lab services and technology pilots.
- Guide a cross-functional team, providing technical leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of lab processes and toolchains.
- Ensure compliance with JLL security, risk, and governance standards for all lab activities.
- Contribute thought leadership on innovation, sustainability, and technology in the built environment.
